AER CELL™ provides unparalleled transparency in the battery cell industry, utilizing straight-forward, honest messaging and energetic visuals. My work incorporates visual motifs of x-ray imagery, strategic application of a bold color palette, and dual lighting environments to differentiate nontechnical vs technical language and information.

Eschewing competitors’ tendency to hide information behind logins and email inquiries, AER CELL™ provides crucial cell data openly on the front page.

Complementary lighting themes simplify messaging for customers: light theme for introductory/explanatory/descriptive text, and dark theme for a ‘look behind the scenes’ at the technical data.

The original AER logo was deemed different in style from the company objectives and a redesign was suggested. Meanwhile, the visual motif for company transparency taken literally, in the form of line art and x-ray imagery, was present from initial moodboards and ideations.

With an overall direction selected, logo variations were expanded upon.
