Designed to encourage healthy dental habits from an early age, SAFARI Dental Flossers focus on ease of use and simplicity, while providing an appropriately fun and engaging visual aesthetic.

*Early versions of the Safari flosser necessitated running the floss along a canal within the device itself. This would later be simplified, as ease of use was a key element for this product.*

Ideation & Development

Early sketches explored a variety of dental care areas, but I soon decided to focus on flossing. This, in turn, evolved into developing a variety of fun forms to package the same product.

Once I had narrowed my focus to the realm of flossing, I put a fair amount of research into effective methods of floss thread storage and management, presently devising a universal internal mechanism as a result.

From there it was simply a matter of coming up with engaging exterior visuals to satisfy the target market.
